Bartonsville Bridge
The Bartonsville Bridge is located in Windham County, Vermont in the town of Rockingham. There are 3remaining covered  bridges in this town and this is the longest at 151 feet.
The view through the  lattice  work  of the  bridge is  magnificent year round but  especially in autumn. The clouds on this particular day made remarkable reflections on the river.
This single span bridge crosses the Williams River.
At one time  there were 17 covered bridges in Rockingham, floods and  road improvement removed  most of them. It is nice to know  that   covered  bridges are now looked  upon as  historical landmarks and important to tourism. This bridge was rebuilt in 1983.
Built in 1871 by Sanford Granger, this bridge is not only  the longest in town  but  also  one  of the  longest covered  bridges left in the state.
