"Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble." PSALMS 119:165 Get to know what really bothers you, for that's what the enemy will use every time! Be smarter than him. List the peace stealers' in your life and share them with someone you trust. Bear ye one another's burdens Gal 6:2). We all have areas where we need support. The enemy knows that if he can get you upset, then he has power over you. So let your goal be to stay calm. Don't play into his hands by saying things that only add fuel to the fire! One of satan's favourite strategies is to get you upset just before church! Joyce Meyer writes, In our house on Sunday morning, things would get lost, spilled, or broken, like no other day of the week. The children would get along well except on Sunday morning. The more commotion we had, the more I'd complain and get upset. Now, my husband Dave hates complaining, so he'd tell me to stop, and I'd get mad at him. Then the children would cry because we were arguing. In the middle of this, the dog would show up with somebody's shoe and I'd start hollering, We're going to be late again! ' Sound familiar? Listen, peacemakers will reap a harvest of goodness (Jas 3:18 NLT). Satan knows that the Holy Spirit works best in an atmosphere of peace. If he can get you so upset that you don't hear the Word, he can rob you of your harvest. Don't let him do it! Look out for the peace stealers' in your life today. |
