AUSTRALIAN SURFING COASTLINE

Surfing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world today. First practised by the ancient Polonesians, the tradition was set forth by mostly fishermen, "Men of the sea." Nowadays though, anybody and everybody can surf. Surfing is the art of riding the face of a wave. This "art", as all surfers like to call it (as opposed to a "sport"), requires a good sense of balance, and a love of the ocean. Learning to surf is not an easy task, it also requires a lot of dedication. But in the end it is well worth it. The feeling you get when you ride your first wave is overwhelming. Many of the best surfing areas of Australia are accessible by road, but many aren't which makes them even better when you do find them. There's still plenty of secret spots in Australia that only a hand full of people know about, and some great breaks that are still yet unsurfed. Because of the sheer size of Australia and the large stretches of isolated and unpopulated areas, we hope that these untouched beaches will remain in their current pristine condition.

Grab a mate and sit out the back for a while and soak in the awesome power Mother Nature. Everybody is out there with one common goal... to surf, whether you're a beginner or a total gun.
