Something To Believe In
We need something to believe in
To fight the loneliness and seperateness
Which gives us the space to meditate
But we cannot meditate
Because our minds have become polluted
And overcome
The effect of the dream
We cannot concentrate
On anything with meaning
Turned needful and unaware
We need something to believe in
Other than money
And romantic love
But maybe that's all we need
It's sweeping the world
Culture
And when one is without another
They feel incomplete, meaningless
Unfulfilled
Clinging to another without real love
And maybe the devil is real
Divorce is of course expected
The kids will raise themselves
Just give them enough money for the
Newest clothes
(And hockey equipment)
But, ah, that's the world
