Newfoundland
I live on a rock
It is in the sun's eye
And so new life is reformed
A life is lived on that rock
Of once; for fish for food
O, but yet
Upon that land's expanse
The people run like hobbits
Expecting the dark riders
Away
And yet is there hope and joy
In the eyes of the
Newfound women and men
For they know still, in days,
How depicts survival and love and
Happiness
For the heart warmed
Is yet humble
