A Love Poem

Love is the tenderest trap
The sweetest embrace
Of restless lips
Its kiss doth taste

A lilac for her hair
To go with my undying love
However would such eloquence
Grace us from above?!!

And if she were to leave here
'To love another?', I ask: 'why?'
The stars needn't then, no longer,
Fly upon the cold, vacant night sky

These are but written words,
These words confine, these words confine!
Through them never shalt I express
The depth of this love of mine
