to my sisters-in-law how deeply I love them.
They are my fortress and have become
my haven.
They are the mirror to my soul. They
have not failed nor abandoned me.
They always welcome me with open
arms, to shield me,
to protect me, to love me.
They have presented to me the most
rare, the most treasured gift-
a bond, a unity, a light of hope, a
home for my heart. They have given me
entry into their sisterhood.
Bound By Heartstrings
When our souls were created,
fashioned from Dust
By God's Mighty Hand
he mixed in some trust
He made us each different
He molded and honed
shaped our uniqueness
with a personality of our own.
On Earth He did place us
To grow and to learn
to develop, to change,
to follow, to lead,
to fulfill a desire
to find the answer for the mystery
each of us yearned.
By birth and by marriage
We connected, we loved,
We laughed and we cried,
At what this life brings
We three became an entity
of something quite new -
We now know the truth of the songs
that we sing.
We are eternally held together
