For my daughter, Shannon

With Tender Love, Mom

Irreparableness

I have been in the meadows all the day,
And gathered there the nosegay that you see,
Singing within myself as bird or bee
When such do field-work on a morn of May.
But now I look upon my flowers, decay
Has met them in my hands, more fatally
Because more warmly clasped,-and sobs are free
To come instead of songs. What you say,
Sweet counselors, dear friends? that I should go
Back straightway to the fields to gather more?
Another, sooth, may do it, but not I.
My heart is very tired, my strength is low,
My hands are full of blossoms plucked before,
Held dead within them till myself shall die.

    Elizabeth Barrett Browning, 1806-1861

If I could use this magic wand
I'd wave it everyday
In hopes that you'd be better
And find health and peace to today

If I could wave this magic wand
I'd do it just for you
  Because I know you're saddened
And I know you feel so blue

But we really don't have magic wands
Not on this earth we trod
Just keep the faith in Jesus
  And believe in Almighty God...

Blessed and Be-still My Heart

Written By: LuvRaqui  / Raquel Hernandez

Blessed and Be-still my Heart.

Not a day I wake with out you near.

In my thoughts always you keep.

A special place that runs so deep.

My one and only child you be.

Brought on this earth through my body.

No other can take your place.

My thoughts always leaning to your dear face.

What a treasure you have been.

With all the highs and lows and sin.

Forsake me not my sweetheart.

In my life you play a giant part.
