| Beveren-Anderlecht 1-3 Brussels, monday january 29th 2001 Anderlecht is the new leader in the Belgian Jupiler League. Last season's champion had few problems defeating Beveren and benefited from Club Bruges' slipup in Lokeren. Anderlecht defeated Beveren without impressing. The champions took an early lead via Baseggio and Radzinski. In the second half Radzinski (again) managed to score 0-3 and that way Anderlecht was able to finish the match without a hurry. Remco Torken managed to score in reply and by doing so saved SK Beveren's honour. |

| Charleroi-Anderlecht 0-4 Friday, February 2nd 2001 On a snow-covered pitch Anderlecht easily won against Charleroi. The inflammed home team needlessly got into trouble by it's aggressive game. After an early red card for Negouai the visitors from Brussels were able to display their technical skill. Crasson send in a good cross and Radzinski scored the goal. The chances keep piling up for the visitors, but they were to sloppy in the final touch. In the 2nd half thing got even easier for Anderlecht after goalkeeper Dudas getting sent off. The purple & white easily kept ticking the ball around. Goor, Koller and Dheedene managed pushed up the score. |
