| Welcome to our Costa Rica Vacation November 2005. Jackie and I had a great time there. The weather was great (HOT) and the one thing that we disliked were the road conditions. Potholes at times almost 2 feet deep. The drivers all looked drunk as they zig-zagged down the highway and another thing was the roads were extremely narrow so to pass someone, it was quite tricky, but somehow the buses seemed to manage. We landed in San Jose, Costa Rica and stayed in the casino hotel (Pics Below) for the night. Then the next morning we took the public bus from San Jose to Tamarindo (right on the Pacific Coast). A 275 Km drive that took 7 1/2 hours Because of the road conditions and the frequent stops. We swore we wouldn't do that again...LOL | |||||||||||||||||||
