Interesting week. i have to say, my first week of work was quite interesting. but first things first. i have to congratulate Jieun and Danny Chai on their marriage which took place this past saturday, June 22. it was only like the 3rd wedding i've ever been to, but probably the most personal to me because i knew both bride and groom as friends. the ceremony was beautiful, and it truly helped me to understand the significance of the event. the two of them will be together for the rest of their lives. the finality and length of time of such a thing is just amazing. also, the demonstration of love that this wedding showed me helped me understand love more concretely for two individuals, as well as between God and his people. but yeah, it is what it is. im sure it will be great, as they will be sustained by God's love. so again, congratulations to them.

this past week was my first at work as well. that was a memorable experience, not only because i've never really gone door to door for a living, but because it forced me to be different from the way i am now. in a good way of course. it absolutely moved me out of my comfort zone, and forced me to interact with people both in the office and as i went around neighborhoods that i probably never would have said hi to in the past. not because i hate them or whatever, but because im not the most forward of people. i really believe i will be able to learn a lot from this job because i will be doing things that im not used to doing. besides learning to interact with others, i will learn how to be a manager of others (with promotion, which i am optimistic of) and to be truly proactive in promoting my own cause and promoting a team at the same time. im very much looking forward to this coming week. i have high hopes, but im still praying for God's favor and sustainance. because the task itself is still daunting to me.
