Received quite a few e-mails in regards to my money management system so I am dedicating this page for all of you to access.
Start with a bankroll that you can comfortably lose without affecting your life in any way.....For the sake of your question we are going to use 5000...next, we'll select a unit wager. Personally I use 2% of the bankroll as a unit.....5000 X .02=100. 100 would be one unit.Your bankroll is going to go up and down so we need to be able to allow for this and 2% allows us to do that.
As our bankroll increases we need to increase the amount of each unit. Use 20% increments or 10 units....10 x .02=20%.Simply put, using our 5000 starting figure one would increase their unit play to 120 AFTER winning 10 units. Your bankroll would be 6000, therefore 6000 x .02=120. It will stay at 120 until you won another 10 units(120 x 10 units=1200+6000=7200) resulting in an increase to 150(7200 x .02=144 round up to nearest 10 so 150) also if you should dip down you would go back to your 100 figure
Units.......Unit bet........Bankroll
At 130 for the year you are still using just 2% of your total bankroll. Your risk is the same as you started, you are simply taking advantage of your increasing bankroll. The key is....Predetermined levels of increase!
