Neopet Mania
Defenders of Neopia
Defenders of Neopia:  This is a tough one due to the fact that for each mission you complete, you need to train your pet extensively for the next one.  To get started, go to the Defenders of Neopia Headquarters, read the comic to find out what your mission is.  Each mission is detailed below.  For extra help on this one, see my Battledome help page!  Good luck fellow Defenders-

Mania's Game Tips
Mission 1:  The Pant Devil
This is your trophy for completing Mission 1
The only way for the Pant Devil to appear as a challenger is for him to steal something from you (talk about an annoying lil' devil).  The two easiest ways to get him to steal are to play The Wheel of Excitement or Dice-A-Roo.  On Dice-A-Roo, you have to make it to the silver dice, once you do he steals numerous items so make sure all your expensive items are in your safety deposit box.  The Pant Devil has 26 hit points and the lil' bugger will steal items from you during the fight (don't worry, you get them back, I think!).  Once you've defeated him, you get all your hitpoints back and a link appears that takes you back to Headquarters.
This is your first opponent
Mission 2:  Ghost Lupe
This is your trophy for completing Mission 2
For the Ghost Lupe to challenge you, you have to go to this neohome - 131 Soup Alley.  The Ghost Lupe should now have challenged you.  Off to the Battledome, click on 1 player, pick your pet, choose Ghost Lupe...and you're off!  The Ghost Lupe has 34 hit points and of course is tougher than the Pant Devil.  Each new mission will be harder and you'll have to train your pet up to about an equal level to have a chance to win.

Mission 3:  Cave Chia
This is your trophy for completing Mission 3
The Cave Chia is located in Tyrannia on page 2 of the Cave Paintings.  It took me about 25 times of refreshing the page before he finally challenged me.  The Cave Chia has 61 hit points.  Make sure you have something to heal with on this one.  My pet only had about 30 hit points, but by visiting the Healing Faerie several times I was able to raise her up to almost 70.  If the Faerie says your pets have gained 7 hit points and they were already fully healed, it just gets added on!!

Mission 4:  Mueka
This is your trophy for completing Mission 4
The only way to get this nasty lookin' critter to challenge you is if one of your pets gets the sneezles.  Once they have it, go to the Quick Reference Page and you will be challenged.  I don't know of any other way to get the sneezle than to play Wheel of Excitement and actually hope it lands on the space that gives your pet a disease.  Ouch...not fun!  If anyone knows of an easier way to get the sneezles, please email me and I'll give you full credit!
This is your opponent for Mission 4.... ewwwwww
Mission 5:  Brain Tree
This is your trophy for completing Mission 5
The Brain Tree is a toughie, shocking, huh?  To get the Brain Tree you must complete its quest...now the catch!  The only way to get the answers for the Brain Tree is to complete two Esophagor quests.  And it gets harder from here...sheesh!

Mission 6:  Commander Garoo

This is your trophy for completing Mission 6
To be challenged by Commander Garoo, you have to go on over to the Space Station.  Keep refreshing until he finally challenges you.  How to beat him???  Lots of hit points and lots of luck!  Don't forget, on a 1 player battle you can always leave the page before you lose (going to your status page withdraws you from 1 player battles).  I didn't realize this for a while, so I have several losses in my stats that didn't need to be there, sigh.

Mission 7:  Tekkitu the Witch Doctor
The trophy for completing Mission 7
To get Tekkitu to challenge you, go to Tiki Tours on Mystery Island.  Again, keep refreshing until he challenges you.

Mission 8:  Meerca Henchmen
Your trophy for completing Mission 8
These nasty thugs hang out in a secret room called the Trap Door under Peopatra's Petpets in the Lost Desert.

Your trophy for completing Mission 9
You should already have this challenger in your list.  Be careful on this one, think Punchbag Bob but one who fights back and throws everything at you...owie
Your opponent for Mission 9
This is all I have for now, wonder if Neopets will add more challengers!
