PJ Nights is pictured to the right with her dad who gave her a love of learning and the stars. She lives in coastal Maine, teaches physics and astronomy further inland. She was the senior poetry editor of MiPo, coedited the Women of the Web poetry anthology with CE Laine and Dorothy Mienko which is due out in November from Sun Rising Press, and is working on a collaboration with graphic artist, Joseph Barbaccia.

Her poetry appears in print in Women of the Web, Whistling Shade, Wolf Moon Press Journal , Animus, Penumbra, Diverse Publications's Erotic Poetry Society magazine, Slow Trains Volumes I and II and the textbook, Language and Prejudice. Her poetry has been recognized by the IPBC, NPAC and the Preditors & Editors Reader's Poll. She was chosen as the Poet Laureate for the Spring '02 edition of Amoret's Emerald Collection and won 1st place in the 2003 (6th annual) Poetry Super Highway contest. Of wives and mothers was nominated for a 2004 Pushcart Prize.
