Five Marbles
it often goes beyond your presence altogether

it often goes beyond your presence altogether
and i find myself wanting
to touch everything
you own
your aggies your stones the rings
and tiny bones
and all the things sachet-scented
you will never wear again
but keep because they are part
of your past
which is what i long for the most i suppose
the life you have already lived
that private unspoken story that will never
be told
