Tara Birch, is 48 this year. Her first book of poems, Carrots and Bleu Cheese Dip, is available online at lulu.com. She has also published poems at several online journals, including Tryst and MiPo zines to whose editors she is deeply indebted for all their support and encouragement regarding her work. ~ Edward O'Brien is a cofounder of the poetry board Inverse and won the IBPC in September 2002 with kaintuck heaven. ~ Valentina Bonnaire, is a Contributing Editor for Clean Sheets. Her erotica appears under various noms de plume there, at Erotica Readers and Writers Association, Slow Trains Literary Journal, and in the print anthology From Porn to Poetry 2. One of these days she will pen "that novel"... ~ Terry Lucas, an only child of a long-haul truck driver and a mother who never allowed him to "waste paper," grew up in the "four corners" area of New Mexico, where he spent weekends and summers inside discarded refrigerator boxes, writing and illustrating poems and short stories. While attending New Mexico State University, studying under the poet, Keith Wilson, he worked full time, making enough money to buy his own paper, and has been writing poems down ever since. Some of these poems are published on-line in MiPoesias, MiPo Print, and Web Del Sol, placing twice with the IBPC (read First Watch and Pictures of the Bisti).� In print journals, his poetry appears or is forthcoming in Rosebud, Solo, and Grain Magazine (Canadian). For the past several years, Terry has lived on the west coast in both the US and Canada, and currently resides with his wife, Annie, and his son, Matt, in Chicago. ~ Annie Lucas, ne'e Annette Raphael, Ninth Grade Queen of the semi-colon lives in rooms on the 36th floor with her husband, Terry, his son, Matt, Mr. P, a stuffed kitty and a ceramic dachshund. Her private corner is dedicated to a Lego skyscraper furnished with Renwal; each vignette a possible portal to another planet. ~ Fred Longworth, pays the bills by restoring vintage audio components. His work has appeared in numerous journals including Melic Review, California Quarterly, Pearl, Rattapallax, Spillway, Writer's Monthly, and Poetry Worm. When he is not writing poetry, he serves as the village ogre. ~ Rae Pater has three children a dog named Bob and a cat named Gus. She spends far too much time in front of a computer, and her bio needs some serious work. Rae placed first in the NPAC online poetry competition in January 2004, and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize by Verse Libra Quarterly this year. Rae is currently attending Canterbury University studying English Lit.
