Gintaras Grajauskas (b. 1966, Marijampole, Lithuania) won the Z. Gele Prize for best first book of poems with Tatuiruote (Tattoo, 1993). Another collection of his, Kauline dudele (Bone Pipe, 1999), won both the Spring of Poetry and Simonaityte Awards. His works have been translated into English, German, Polish among other languages. In addition to writing poetry, Mr. Grajauskas works as a journalist and editor of Klaipeda, a daily newspaper very popular in Klaipeda city and the western part of Lithuania. He is responsible for the selection of literary works and promotion of young Lithuanian writers featured in Klaipeda�s monthly literary supplement �Gintaro Lasai� (Drops of Amber). Since 2000, he has organized the annual poetry festival Placdarmas (Bridgehead) in Klaipeda. Having studied jazz at the State Conservatoire in Klaipeda, he also sings and plays the bass guitar in the band Rokfeleriai. He lives and works in Klaipeda. You can read more of his work here.

Jenni Russell lives in NC. Her work has been featured in several journals including MiPo, Melic Review, Poetic Voices, three candles, Espresso Fiction, and mothertongued. Besides writing, she enjoys The Sims2, yoga, and volunteering twice a week to read poetry to nursing home residents. She is the staff interviewer and editor for MiPO. Currently, Jenni is working on two chapbook manuscripts, a memoir describing her experiences in the strip club industry, and a prose chapbook.

Neil C. Leach, Jr. was born June 2, 1954 in Richmond, Virginia. He currently resides in Concord, North Carolina and has been married 23 years to Katherine "Denise" Leach, a remarkable woman in every sense of the word. He has 3 sons: Marshall Derek Leach - age 23 - United States Marine, Andrew Dallas Leach - age 22 - United States Air Force, and Darin Scott Leach - age 18 - United States Air Force. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, concentrating on the Bachelor of Creative Arts program; working in serigraphy, stone lithography, etching, and graphics of numerous media. He wrote his first poem October 6, 2002. He has been honored as a featured poet of Liquid Poetry for the year 2002. He has several top ten NPAC finishes in 2003, winning NPAC Best of the Best 2003 - 8th place for his poem Century (January 2003 - HM). He also placed second in the NPAC April 2004 for Thoughts from Dad's Porch. Visit his NPAC featured poets page to read more of his work.
