when rocco slips in we'll pop over
do you think dune buggy or woody?
i heard about the skin tight on those feet
tight in those shoes how they flatten
the curve of seething sky darken
the afternoon flipping its bird
to the poetry of our horizons
melting into our nearsightedness
the water breaks near wandering tide
at least that's what they told me
when they said part of her waited there
wanting an ode to the sand on her toes
where do the bodies of such women go?
for a few minutes they disappear
or leave with a professional
anyone can make them disappear
even before sunset
rocco here yet?
she looks so alone some of her does
and the sand is ruining her shoes
