Time

If he went back to this time yesterday, he would be shaking his head, tickling himself to know when he became old.

How time accumulates. One day, you are old when just yesterday, you were remembering that you were born, stretching your arms, getting used to the body
you have/are just becoming.

He could be three years old again whenever he spied a train in his mind leaving him and all the scenes he had passed along, the way you could be without your memories when time left you standing in the snowlight, far from where you
started from and farther than where you wanted to be.
