Woman in Bikini on Beach Towel

snippets written in a local cafe:

from the pool
her pink bikini
ah,
another life

*
on the bare ground of her love
he sleeps until the slap! of a
lit cigarette wakes the burning world

*

long gray hair
this is who i am

NO~!

*

she was a trap of beauty

he was in season

*

from the ceiling
dancing feet
mine tap along

*

"whiskey breath"
i think i'll call it

searching the cupboards

*

on the plate
one pepper, a few crumbs

a tear

*

strong bitter tea
an offering
a thank you

*

long drought
a beach of dead fish

and you

*

rum! um!
a handful of cum!
bah! on the lonely
life!

*

bent old man pushing his basket
american flag waving with pride

the sidewalk wet with melting snow

his treasure?
a package of
oreos

*

nearly empty cafe
just this old writer
and a young man
wiping down the tables

*

AVANT!
what the hell does that mean?
