This is page is to keep everyone informed of the status of Ben Howarth “Bemus”.  As some of you may know Ben Howarth was diagnosed a few years ago with the disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It was hell and an honor serving with you.  

As you know, I've had ALS for four years now, and next week I'll be discontinuing my tube feedings.

It was a joy and a pleasure knowing you -you've added a lot to my life.  If you have a picture or a 

story or a funny anecdote you'd like to share with my children, please send it to Anna Sanders

at [email protected] - she is putting together a memory book for them.
