Pizza and Chicken Review of Eastern Ontario

This site is a record of my observations while eating local chicken and pizza.
Some places were good some amazing, and some not for me to return. The purpose of this review is not to tell you the best pizza ever but the best economical pizza deal. If you like pizza as much as I do you know a $25 pizza does not tatse better than a $10 one. Remember this is my taste and not everyone's, if you like sour or flaming red hot my negatives may be your favourite. There are other factors that I took into minor consideration such as attitude, speed, cleanliness and accessibility. If you wish to recomend a place (or rant) email me.

Taste scale 1 - 10 based on my personal taste.
A '1' means I threw out the food, a '10' means yummy, I eat there when I can.
You can get a feeling of my choices if you compare my rating to a known eatery. I prefer my pizza with some salt but some places have too much (unhealthy). I do not really enjoy tomato 'paste' flavour (Satan's sauce) as much as fresh tomatoes or soup style flavour.
Price 1=no deal, 2=fair, 3=great deal. This is a comparision based on Yummy vs Price.
Eatery Toppings The good, the bad and the ugly Taste Price
Mary's Resturant, Winchester Mary's Special It has a unique surprising taste. It is somewhat normal as a pizza would be but the blend of sauce spices and toppings makes this a nice change from assembly line shops. The crust is pizza crust ..... some times too stiff. If you are in the neighbourhood try it.

Dominos, Cornwall Extravaganza or Mushroon, onion and bacon This was my favourite pizza. Then a while back the sauce was sour tasting, the dough which was like clouds from heaven became like crackers and the cheese was bitter. I contacted Dominos head office and they did not seem to care, they told me to talk to the store owner. (I doubt he changed the recipes) I gave it many tries but is was not a glitch. Never went back.

Five Star Restaurant, Kemptville Special It has a unique taste. Nice sweet mild sauce, flavourful yet not zingy. Generous toppings. Looks like a pizza from the outside but its all addiction on the inside. When in Rome... (Kemptville) thick toppings 8 2
Philo's, Cornwall Mushroom It has a unique surprising taste. It is somewhat normal as a pizza would be but the blend of sauce spices and the mushrooms (you have to be a mushromm ;) to get this) makes this a nice change from assembly line shops.I felt it has a cheese blend going on.... bubble gum. The crust is pizza crust ..... some times too stiff. This is the best mushroom pizza in eastern Ontario. (I have not tried other offerings)If you are in the neighbourhood try it.

Pizza Hutt, Cornwall All I found it interesting that a pizza from take out had substantially less toppings than dine in. The pizza was good but the price for the thinly covered take out and prices overall make me say 'not a bargin for what you get'

Louis, Cornwall Special Generous toppings. Veggies make it wet and soggy (but I like that) but the Bacon was so saltly I felt my kidney run and hide. I have had pizza without bacon and it was good, but it needed bacon. It is a local favourite and it is good but pricey
