| 5/24/02 Ahhh, its been an interesting two days. Well, palmie is sold, so thats a relief. and last night was benny's b-day, and we gave him a dancing hampster! uh yea, we went to ellas for dinner, and it was yummy and such (tho my drink was icky) and the carousel was fun. the general experience, was not :-( anywhoo, today i had my rheumatology appointment . . . how fun *note: sarcasm* actually, it wasn't that bad, and they're not gonna steal my blood until tuesday. and they gave me the cool skin numbing stuff so i wont even feel it when the stab me! anywhoo, they're inable to decide between things like lupus and other auto-immune disease thingies. peachy, eh? ah well, hopefully things'll get better in this area and, letsee, its memorial weekend, so i may or may not decide to update. but, luckily, theres only 2 more weeks of school, aka 8 days! (i wont have a fri final!!!) and this weekend its justin's birthday, which is cool. and tonight i was HOPING to spend some times with him, but apparently thats not the case. oh well, ill live. if anyone wanna make some plans tonight, just let me know -- i'll be very greatful!! and tomorrow im gonna be locked in kristi's basement until she finished her rough draft of the map (i'm getting close on my final draft!! :-D). sunday is my aunt's wedding, so that should be fun . . . i getta remind ppl to sign the little book thingy. oh well, im gonna go do my homework, try to find plans for tonight w/ someone who cares (dani and ben are going on a date, and my parents wanna go out too) and find some software for dennis. and, if i finish all of that and i get extremely bored, theres always the option of burrying my head in a pile of sand -Pepper |
| 5/27/02 Ahh, glorious monday (no school!!! :-D) anywhoo, today is justin's birthday, so happy birthday justin! (tho u probly dont read my site anymore :-P) im @ work today - oh, joy! *note: sarcasm* but sammy is here w/ me, justin will come soon, ben is on his way, and dani will wander over here eventually. letsee, everything since friday . . . yesterday (sunday) was my aunt linda's wedding. it was fun, tho i got bun burnt :-( ah well, i *should* live. well, it was a lot of fun, though i spent sooooo much time dancing i could barely stand up by the end of the night! (of course, by the second song i'd gone for the barefoot method :-P) and it was REALLY pretty at centenial gardens. and there was pool an' foosball tables (and tv - note, the osbornes was lame) although the food wasn't great, and some guy kept hitting on dani . . . btw, always be careful and ration out your cheese cubes!!! saturday was a TON of fun too!! well, first of all, we went to pancake cafe for breakfast. i had chocolate crepes and a miracle occured: i had too much sugar! :-O anywhoo, after that i went to kristi's and worked on the mapping project (btw, my map is DONE!) anywhoo, then like, in the evening, my cusins came over and we had pizza, and soda, and played hide and go seek. they brought their playstation, and i got some great games of mortal kombat trilogy in. i also downloaded the vietnam song (i've had it stuck in my head since saturday morning!!) and later justin came. a lot of good times later, we all went home and such. and THAT is my weekend in a nutshell, -Pepper |
| 5/29/02 *sigh* you dont even wanna know . . . anywhoo, today i almost didnt goto school, so im obviously not in my sanest possible state. anywhoo, yesterday was SUCH a long day!! i sold dennis my palm, and i waited all afternoon so i could behold the amazing acer PDA (im a geek, sue me) it was wonderful, and the power is, surprisingly, usable in america!! so i held on to my new, shiny, object while i went to the doctor yet again to be poked and prodded. pee in a cup, get some xrays, forfeight some blood, etc -- im sure you know the drill! then i went to work, cussed several times at my computer, went home, cussed a few more times, and got my acer working. then i cussed QUITE a few times cause i couldnt find a cd - ick! this morning i woke up WAAAAY too early, went to work, couldnt find the CD, burnt a diff copy . . . awhile later i wind up at school (late!) and i end up showing off my shiny object. i handed in my science map, so im done being paranoid i'll lose it. watched a weird movie in english and confirmed our food choices for tomorrow's potluck, had lunch. uh, yea, lunch is always interesting, and i think we ended up eating more of casey's lunch than casey did . . . chinese was chinese, psych was inkblots, and health was the oh-so-very-fun world of contraceptives!! yea, ben was nice and gave me a ride today, my parents are out to dinner, im bored, and the acer is finally syncing at work. also, i've ordered some memsticks (non-techies can just smile and nod their head), altho i just bought 2 64 meg cards instead of one 128 meg cause it'd be cheaper and arrive sooner (saved an oh-so-amazing $2). so tuesday i'll start playing with my music :-D finals are next week, THANK GOD!! school is winding up!! after finals is kate's "party" and then florida!!! ahh, time to go "work" -Pepper |
| 5/30/02 Letsee, today was i had a math test. i think i did better than i expected to, but thats not hard when you dont expect much . . . and it was also the potluck today. yummy yummy food, lots of mountain dew and a seriously awesome movie -- Hair! It was a really cool movie, but the ending was soooooooo sad!! the end was just AWFUL! but i still love the movie, and im trying to find the music to download. if you see it/have it please LET ME KNOW!! and at lunch we had a ton of time to goof off, but then we ended up going back for more food (mmm, banana bread!) and we gave reagan the cheese grater award (generally given to the person who screws up ring game the worst, but we gave it to him 'cause he IS a screw up) and the afternoon was calm and peaceful. watched a movie in psych, "learned" about contraceptives and conservative-ass views on sex in health. this afternoon was just hanging out and being bored, tho my dad made a yummy steak. tomorrow is matt's weding, so i may or may not update (depending on how much i love "you", the collective entity that reads my site) and, quite sadly, i've hardly seen justin all week 'cause he hasnt been going to work . . . mue mue tristae (sp??). two more days of classes and 3 days of finals!! yipee, the end is near!!! -Pepper |
