| First day of school (and then some) |
| 8/36/02 -- i dont know where i left off last time, and to be quite honest i dont particularly care. But, to make a long story short my weekend was spent w/ saturday @ my dad's highschool reunion and sunday at the mall. i did a LOT of shopping and i have a homecoming dress already (w/ matching shoes, of course) so thats one less thing to bother with later (thankgod!) and we watched sugar and spice last night. GOOD movie (i was shocked). Anyways, onto today -- the day most ppl have been dredding almost all summer long: the first day of school! *dramatic gasp* First we did some stupid little backyard thingy -- UGH!!! they also served us lunch which was exceptionally gross but it was nice to get a chance to talk w/ all my friends (past present and future) and such before we got started w/ classes. And now, as for classes, i got THREE assignments after the first day. not as bad as for most ppl, but still not exactly thrilling. Anyhew, heres a play by play of how things went 1st, tag 10: nice teacher, nice atmospher and although i really dont know anyone there exceptionally well, im sure i can make friends (and if not im f-d :P). sadly though, he assigned a 2pg paper today 2nd, chinese 2: good stuff, nice little review stuff including a mini quiz-like thingy, all the old ppl and a few new, good stuff no hw 3rd, math physics: CROWDED as all h***!! 31 ppl in that class but theres only enough seating for 30, UGH!! know 1 person, so i guess i'll be making friends (theoretically) and there was hw 4th, calc ab ap: a little hw and a few ppl in the class i know, looks to be a nice teacher though and i should survive pretty well 5th, lunch: boring as anything and most my friends are in the other lunch period, but, luckily, im discovering more and more ppl who i'll share lunch hour with 6th, marketting: like ALL uperclassmen! dunno anyone, but the teacher is the nice guy from the school store. this one could be interesting . . . 7th, history: mr.voss!! my old english dude so it'll be pretty interesting there too. lotsa preps!! but i should survive, though its questionable 8th, gym: nice teacher, but im not sure if i want the class on my gpa (give me some feedback here!!) and i know a few ppl in the class (usually a plus, depends on the ppl). i hope it all turns out ok; i dunno if i'll even be able to walk tomorrow, let along play softball!! So that was my day, i thought of a musing!! if i have time i'll type it up tonight and upload asap. other than that, chill out folks and wait for some more from me -Pepper |
