| A journey in the art and history of one of the most beautiful region in Europe. Seville: the largest town of Andalusia is the place where the documentary starts. The airy spaces of Plaza Espana and Parque de Maria Luisa, the narrow streets of the old quarter Barro de Santa Cruz, the impressive Catedral where Cristopher Columbus is buried, the Giralda tower and the Arab Alcazar. The movie Lawrence of Arabia was shot in most of these sights. |
| Granada: hosted in the Parador of San Francisco, an amazing hotel in a former convent inside the Alhambra, the troupe filmed the beauty of this fortress, with its Palace of Nasridi, a powerful Arabs dinasty that built this place with stuccos and carved wood ceilings, and its gardens, El Generalife, with fountains, flowers and lemon trees. Cordoba: The Mezquita, one of the wonder of arts, a huge mosque built in 785 a.C. with a 16th century Catholic Cathedral inside. It's marvelous! See the forest of 850 red and white columns, the alabasters and granites. Also featured the colorful gardens of the Fortress of Los Reyes Cristianos. The pleasure of the art is mixed with the delight of food: the famous tapas with the amazing Iberico ham and local red wine. |
