I am going to attempt and try and convince you on why you should watch if not buy Requiem for a Dream. First, and foremost it is directed by Darren Aronofsky. If that doesn't get your goat, then maybe the soundtrack will, which I might add is freaking amazing, and if you go to cdnow.com, you can listen to a few of the songs for free, which I highly recommend you do.
Second the movie is also good because it has a great cast. Jared Leto, the man who was Steve Prefontaine in Without Limits, and who is a teen heart-throb does an outstanding job. Jennifer Conneley, who is super hot, and sexy, does a great job. Marlon Wayans also does a much better job than anyone actually expected of him, I'm sure.
As for the plot of the movie, they are all drug addicts, and the movie tries to portray how everyone is a drug adict. I can't give out anymore of the plot. It will give away the movie.
