| Preview: Tangi was captured in Nevada. I am still trying to find out her capture date and information. she was adopted to a lady in Florida before me. I adopted her in Feb04. Currently she is approx 3 years old. I adopted her during my pregnancy and was not able to do much until recently. Her bahavior got out of hand and she injured my daughter, most likely on accident. It became clear that I had an untrustworthy horse on my hands and needed to do something fast. I discovered I had lost my place as Alpha (it is essential to be the Alpha member to horses, especially Wild Horses). She began to intimidate me. I had no idea how and NO confidence to get Alpha status back. Oct 13 2005: Daphne and Maria come to my rescue. I was on the verge of giving Tangi up. They showed me some tips and tricks in the round pen, helped me gain Alpha status back and left me some matrials to view. All in all it was a good day. Oct 14 2005: Was in a rush but still wanted to see if I was still Alpha. angi challenged my position once and I reassured her I was Woman In Charge. She obeyed my commands and eagerly listened to what I said. We joined up for a short period and I let her go play. |
