I live in Ontario, Canada with my hubby Matthew. We live in a nice house in a quiet neighbourhood. We have two kids, Mikey and Katie. They are 8 and 7 years old, and the treasures of my life along with my hubby and many pets.
The photo on the left is my favorite of Matt and Katie. Katie was a preemie, born two and a half months early and weighing just over 4 pounds, she is still very tiny for her age, but otherwise healthy and happy. On the right is a pic of her at 3 years old, searching for Easter eggs at Grandma's house.
Mikey is pictured here in the summer of 2001, five years old and playing tee-ball.
I also raise and breed mini rex rabbits and netherland dwarf rabbits.
This is Bandit. He is a four year old border collie cross. He is a retired hearing ear dog and came to live with us because he had epilepsy and needed to be on meds. Since he has come here, we have weaned him off his phenolbarbitol and he has done just great over two years. Not one indication of a siezure. He had only had one or two and the vet promptly put him on meds. I think these were isolated incidents because he hasn't had a problem since. I don't believe he will ever need meds again. He is happy, healthy and the best dog one could ever ask for.
This is Mozart. He is a 4 year old, domestic long hair cat. He is really a live teddy bear. He is the softest, cuddliest cat we have ever had, or seen for that matter. He is the result of a brother/sister coupling, so maybe that is why he is such a nut. Matt's brother has Mozart's dad, he was an orange tabby. Not one of his relatives except his sister, had long hair.
This is the oldest of our brood. Even older than the kids. This is Zoey, she is a 9 year old short haired silver tabby. She is gorgeous. We have been offered money for this cat, but guess what we said? NO! She is family and she stays! Zoey is wierd. She is usually anti-social unless she wants food. But if we have guests and especially if they hate cats, she is on their laps and purring. She is the sweetest girl.
