Our freshly-prepared meals are created with love by our chefs along with whoever feels like cooking that day... even guests are invited to share their favorite dishes with us. We have every kind of food you would love and can accomodate special diets.
Breakfast can be served in the beautiful light-filled country kitchen, in the dining room, in the lounge, in the garden, by the poolside, in the conservatory, or by room service. If you are going out on an early morning excursion, we will be happy to pack a nice breakfast and lunch for you to take with you. Our full-service spa is complimentary. In addition to the quiet hot soaking tubs and jacuzzis, we have volcanic mud baths, herbal wraps, hot stone massage and Vichy showers, and full massage therapy services. If you don't mind a short hike (on a fully accessible trail lined with beautiful non-allergenic wildflowers) you can take advantage of the minimally developed natural hot springs over by the creek. We also have large tubs for parties of any size. Very comfortable. Those are over by the quiet pool.You could just hang out by the pool tonight, listen to the waterfall, watch the stars... Or sit in the garden in the morning, watch the butterflies...
There is a lovely infirmary, with a garden conservatory, right next to the full-service spa. You can sit back, relax in one of our comfy recliner chairs, and let people nurture and nourish you back to health. Our infirmary is staffed by caring, sensitive, professionally trained medical and nursing personnel who also have an interest and special training in alternative therapies and holistic medicine. We can have full psychiatry and counseling services as well in a lovely, private, supportive environment. Full rehab services, respite services, special day care, and a full range of therapeutic activities, complimentary to our guests. Children can heal from their illnessses in the infirmary's special games area, where recreation therapists keep kids distracted with creative play while they recover.
Students from the local therapeutic massage therapy institute will be at the Inn to study with the master teachers, who happen to be on our staff. These advanced students are required to practice various techniques, including most basic techniques from clothed shoulder rubs to full body massage, and they will be wandering around the grounds looking for people to practice upon.... under light supervision, of course.
