| Three Monkeyteers This story you will not believe Three monkeys out on New Year's Eve. This threesome partying thru the night Causing for many others fright. First came the short and cute monkey Whose eyes roved 'round good men to see Followed by dancer number two Who always the name of tunes knew. The third one was a male, of course, Who talked as though his voice was hoarse He did the work for both the gals While all three were the greatest pals. These monkeys cared not what folk think They partied well without the drink Their hair came down, all hell broke free When these monkeys came to party! The two females could dance all night Their bunny hopping quite a sight. At karoake all would sing Their antics all to laughter bring. Solid Gold Dancers danced for all In others' hearts, laughter install. Their joyous spirits brought such cheer They banished all friends' pain and fear. The taller one on speaker top Would dance as though she could not stop. Monkey one would join her there Both answering to any dare. Why, its been known, once, that the male A simple challenge would not fail Removing clothes to please his date Monkey two, his lifelong mate. While monkey one and monkey two Would for some fun, anything do Leap-frogging in a pizza place So many things with natural grace. Now this New Year's Eve they will start With something closest to their heart A song, a dance, a joke or two And remembering friends they knew. Perhaps this night they'll play some games The losers calling others names. In crib the one is skunked so much All think she's lost her counting touch. Ping-pong with them is lots of fun Watching as tempers come undone. Arms waving wildly in the air While ping-pong balls do not well fare! The rules are made by number two And often known by very few They seem to change as she desires Or at least 'til her partner tires! Their plans were made before they came But seldom do remain the same. Whatever happens, let it be The monkeys three will be happy!! |
