Times Of Love
Living in a new century
Yet still your love's a mystery.
Why should you choose your life to live
With one who has little to give?
Another decade, and I find
That you are always on my mind.
But how can you, with such beauty
Want to spend this time with me?
No riches, beauty; wise I'm not
But you say I am what you've sought.
Not famous now, nor will I be
Yet you say I set your soul free.
No great leader of Man am I
Still you say you know I will try
To make this next decade of years
A time for you without dark fears.
One more year, the time is near
When I must face my darkest fear.
How to live when your love's gone
And I to you do not belong.
You have so much to offer all
You say they matter not at all.
Although for all Man you do care
Your love with me only you'll share.
You say that this month, and the rest
If spent with me, are all the best.
No single month, no single time
Without our love would be so fine.
This month my days are full of love
But I my doubts can't rise above.
Why should you, with so much to gain
Spend this month with me again?
Those simple words, like 'I love You'
You say as if you always knew
Perhaps that is why every hour
I further fall under your power.
Every day of every week
Ways to show you I care I seek.
And each and every single day
I marvel at the words you say.

Every minute, second too
I marvel knowing I love you.
And cherish so this mystery:
That you say you also love me!
Now every beat from both our hearts
Shows me that we will never part.
The mystery will always be
The wondrous love you share with me
