Washing well my face, all black Trying for cleanliness I lack. Yet in the mirror I did see A face that was still too dirty.
Took a bath for my body Felt that it was all dirty. Still in the mirror I did see A body that was all filthy.
Tried all the soaps that I could find Used cleanser for body and mind. Still in the mirror I did view A mind that in pure filth did stew.
Covered my body in perfume Read spiritual books in quiet room. Yet still in the mirror I see My mind and body all filthy.
Now finally found special soap. A soap I call the 'Soap of Hope'. A soap to wash more than my skin A soap to wash away false sin.
This soap washes my very soul To obtain my cleanliness goal. The soap called love will wash away The black in mind and soul each day.
I washed my soul, I washed my heart In love-soap, and watched evil part. Now in the mirror I did see Mind, body, soul, of purity.
