| What happened to the Christmas Cheer? Why is the spirit just not here? Why are so many weary of What used to be pure Christian love? |
| Folk used to spend so many hours Marvelling at Christmas powers. At the magic in the air ]That made all folk for others care. |
| Now there's just commercial things That for these same folk trouble brings. Bills that get way out of hand Nurturing greed throughout the land. |
| No more the songs of peace and joy The worship of virgin-born boy. No more the awe of wise men three Nor of He born to� set Men free. |
| How do we get back that we lost? And if not, what for Men the cost? Is Christmas doomed to always be A holiday of misery? |
| It's time to go back to the time When Christmas was remebered fine. When love, and caring, joy, and peace Could all our woes and troubles cease. |
| Look well into a small child's eyes And all will come to realize This is the meaning of Christmas That thru the years will never pass. |
| The wonder that the child does see The magic� and the mystery. The awe of sacrifice so great That angels did in song it state. |
| This year, no big, expensive gift Instead, the way to give a lift To those we love, those we hold dear Is to give some real Christmas cheer |
| Love came to� earth to set us free And can't be worshipped with money. It must be felt within our heart And once felt,we can't let it� part |
| Wrap up a box that is empty And use ribbons and bows pretty. Put in that box a ton of care And wished for good times to share. |
| Wrap up for your loved ones this year A way to help them banish fear. Give thm the greatest figt in life A means to fight their pain and strife. |
