Believe In Yourself

Always believe in yourself.
Don’t put your goals upon a shelf.
You deserve everything you get
So your self-doubts you must forget.

Self-respect is a vital thing,
While self-worth is a personal thing.
Both are necessary to
Help you make the most of you.

The world, our life, can make us feel
That our self-worth is not that real.
But remember we are unique
And don’t have to pretend we’re meek.

We dare not our own selves deceive
But in our worth, we must believe.
Ego, yes, but conceit, no
We must our true worth really know.

Too many think they are not smart
So must from a challenge depart.
While many more think they’re the most
And of their importance will boast.

Both are doomed to not succeed
Fooling yourself to failure leads.
Believe in yourself, but don’t lie
Don’t set your self-worth low or high.

Always in yourself believe
And never your goals behind leave.
Success will be yours if you try
To know yourself, and never lie.
