Warning: May contain Spoilers

Intro: Final Fantasy X-2 is the only true sequel in the Final Fantasy series. This means that the story from FFX contines, along with the same setting and characters. The story takes place two years after the first one, and it stars the ex-summoner Yuna, the cute and perky Al Behd girl Rikku, and the mysterious new-comer, Paine, who travel Spira looking for spheres and taking out bad guys.

The Four Endings: Now, there are four different ending to this game: the good ending, the bad ending, the secret ending, and the perfect ending. In order to get the good ending, all you have to do is beat the game. To get the bad ending, you have to lose against your final battle with Vegnagun (BTW, after the bad ending is over, it will say Game Over, and you'll get to try it again). To get the perfect ending, you need to get 100% completion of the game. The secret ending is a little more complicated.
First, in Chapter 3, you need to go to Cheatu Leblanc and talk to Ormi and Logos. Meet them in their room (in the passage in the back of the hall) and Maechan will show up.
After that's all done with, you'll need to activate the whistling scene at the end of Chapter 3. It happens after you beat Ixion at Djose Temple and Yuna is blasted into the hole. She'll end up in the Farplane and meet Shuyin, Baralai, Nooj, and Gippal. After Nooj and Gippal give her the spheres to give to Paine, she'll be all alone in a dark area with a spotlight on her. You'll have a chance to walk her around this spot for a while. While you are doing that, keep pressing the X button until the scene is activated. Don't stop pressing the X button until Yuna wakes up in the Bevelle Underground and it says Chapter 3 Complete.
After that, you need to get an Episode Complete in Luca and Besaid during Chapter 5. When you beat the game, continually press the X button, as you did in the Farplane, and it should trigger the secret ending.

New Game Plus: After you beat the game, let the credits roll until it says 'The End' (just for furture reference, when you beat any role-playing game, wait til it says 'The End' before you shut the system down. I played Kingdom Hearts about five times trying to get the secret ending, when I had it the whole time, I just didn't realize it was after the credits.) Then it will explain the New Game+, and take you back to the starting screen. There, you will have the option of New Game, Load Game, & New Game Plus. New Game + will allow you to keep all of your dressspheres, garment grids, items, and abilites.

Dress Spheres:Here's some tips about the different dress spheres in the game.

  • Alchemist--Highly recommended. While alchemist have low magic points and hit points, they are extremely handy. The abilities you'll want to learn are Itmes Lvl.2, Mega-Potion, Mega-Phoenix, and Ether.

  • Berserker--Highly recommended. They have high hit points, strength, and defence, but sometimes can get a little out of hand with counterattack and magic counter. Mad Rush and Auto-Regen are the best abilities of this class.

  • Black Mage--Cute outfit, but the Black Mages aren't really powerful until they learn the "-aga" type spells. Until then, have them learn Focus and MP Absorb.

  • Dark Knight--Highly recommended. Dark Knights are kind of oposite of alchemists: all of their stats are high and they are made for hurting, not healing. Unfortunately, dark knight movement is kind of slow. Recommended abilities are Poisonproof and Confuseproof.

  • Gun Mage--Gun mages are just like Blue Mages from other Final Fantasies. They get their ablities from their enemies. Gun Mages aren't very interesting or useful, though. All their abilities are pretty much the same, so just learn them all and keep an eye out for fiends will abilities.

  • Gunner--Two words: Trigger Happy. Once you've built up their Trigger Happy as far as it can go, have them learn Darkproof and On the Level.

  • Lady Luck--Though this sphere is hard to get, it is HIGHLY recommended. If you manage to get it, learn Magic Reels and Tantalize. Don't waste time learning Two & Four Dice, as they don't inflict much damage.

  • Mascot--I don't know if I should recommend it or not, as Mascot is the only dress sphere I have never gotten. You have to get Episode Complete in all fifteen area of Spira to get it, so it must be worth the trouble.

  • Samurai--Samurais are alright, but they rarely hit their enemies, which can get frustrating. Have them learn Hayate and Momentum.

  • Songstress--If you didn't get this sphere right of the start of the game, I would say don't go to the trouble to get it. Songstresses might have the cutest outfits, but they are incredibly weak. They cannot inflict damage or heal, so what good are they? If you decided to use this dress sphere, learn Samba of Silence and the songs.

  • Thief--thieves are handy in boss battles because they can steal rare items from them. Have them learn Stopproof and Pilfer MP.

  • Trainer--This sphere is cute because of the little animals. Each girl has her own animal and set of abilities for this sphere (and also the Mascot dress sphere). For Yuna and her doggy, have them learn Holy Korogo and Pound! For Rikku and her monkey, have them learn Ghiki Pep and Swarm, Swarm. For Paine and her eagle-thingy, have them learn Carrier Flurry and HP Flurry.

  • Warrior--Kind of boring dress sphere, if you ask me. Have them learn Assault and Armor Break.

  • White Mage--While white mages are extremely useful, if they die in a tough battle, your other two girls are doomed. Equip them with high defense stuff and have them learn Curaga and Dispel.
