Materialistic Blah
Somewhat of a "wishlist" of mine.. another page you will most likely find useless. But ah well
1) KitchenAid K45WSSWH Classic Series 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer with Spatula, White Yes I love to cook as a whole but I'm not the best mixer ever so ever since I found out what a stand mixer was I wanted one. I especially like this one because of the things I've heard about its quality & the fact that it comes with the extra stuff like the dough hook, wire whip, etc..
2) WACOM MTE450 Bamboo Pen Tablet I really really have been wanting a pen tablet to get more into digital art and this tablet got tons of positive reviews on multiple websites (newegg.com along with amazon). Sounds perfect at that price for someone like me :)
3) The Joy of Vegan Baking by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau *Drool.* All I need to say. No better way to make me want to get a cookbook than slapping on a marvelous-looking tray of vegan cookies on the cover! Book's chock full of beautifully taken photographs of all of Colleen's wondrous desserts, too. And the ingredients aren't impossible to find or anything. Talk about a staple...
4) Write Screenplays That Sell: The Ackerman Way by Hal Ackerman Already read the first few chapters of this book, and it is an inspiring read... not in that obviously uplifting, encouraging way though; rather, Ackerman really puts things into perspective on screenwriting and spills out must-know info if you actually want to write and if your goal is to eventually churn out a good screenplay. Not that surprised to see so many great reviews for it on Amazon. Oh, and he's a professor at UCLA, to top things off :)
5) La Dolce Vegan!: Vegan Livin' Made Easy by Sarah Kramer Yay, fun book! :) Ok, real reason I love it (aside from fun factor): these recipes are meant for people who don't want to spend tooo much effort in preparing their meals all the time. So in other words, this book screams practicality :D.
6) PETA's Vegan College Cookbook: 275 Easy, Cheap, and Delicious Recipes to Keep You Vegan at School by PETA More easy recipes, except these ones are *ridiculously* easy and involve heavy microwave use. Which is why it comes after Joy of Vegan Baking & La Dolce Vegan (I'm not fond of excessive microwave use), but still among my "most wanted stuff" category b/c it's understandable that they want to make these meals as easy as possible to make for the "typical college kid" who doesn't have time and/or patience to *not* resort to something like a microwave. Haha, I just noticed I said "microwave" a lot.
