Chapter 2: The Transformation

The Transformation:
Each of the kids grew without any problems. Most of them started in different
times, and so, they were not all the same age. But soon, even after the 6 knights were
reborn, Sailor Pluto's power faded, and was gone, and evil slowly seeped into the
world. One by one, the children of the original senshi were awakening to their destinies
and the awesome might of their powers. The sons of the senshi, called themselves the
Ranger Knights, and the daughters, the Neo Sailor Senshi, in commemoration of their
mothers. The children, most still oblivious to their own heritage and birthright, didn't
make much of an effort to find one another, except for those whose memories had
begun to filter back into their mortal minds. These children, usually soon gifted with
the power to transform into their soldier-selves after rediscovering their memories, set
out in search of their long-lost teammates. Often, it wasn't too hard a task to locate
one another, as in the case of Setsuono Meiou and Jikanchi Meiou; twins even in this
lifetime, and both became the next soldiers of time, heirs to the throne of Pluto.
Setsuono and Jikanchi agreed to set out and find others like themselves, and with
Setsuono's power of telepathy and Jikanchi's power of empathy, they believed it to be
a simple task.
Splitting up, Setsuono watched as his sister hopped onto the subway car,
leaving him far behind. He would search their hometown, while she would travel to
America where their mother (not Setsuna) lived and ask for her help. Soon, Setsuono
came across two others, Koriana Mizuno and Nikkaro Aino, who soon turned out to be
Neo Sailor Mercury and Ranger Knight Venus. The three of them, together, came across
some sort of dark warrior... a weilder of fire, who at first turned out to be a threat.
Considering that the group had only recently discovered their powers, they were not
too talented in using their capabilities.
As the fire-melder approached, he drew out a sword and the blade caught fire.
Immediately, the group knew they were in trouble. Holding out his necklace that he'd had
since he was a baby, Setsuono thrust his hand into the air and looked to his allies,
nodding.
"Pluto Power!", he cried, and in a flash of light, there stood Ranger Knight Pluto,
in his hands was the staff of time. Glancing at the other two, he nodded and watched as
Koriana became Neo Sailor Mercury and Nikkaro became Ranger Knight Venus. The
fire-melder, however, took no time and as the group got ready to attack, he was already
in their midst and was busy taking a swing at Koriana. As the blade dug into her flesh,
Setsuono's hand shot out, grasping at the invisible strings of fate that bound Koriana to
such a blow.
"Replay..." he whispered, and gave the strings a slight tug. Suddenly, the blade
drew itself from Mercury, and the wound closed up. The man began to retreat, and he
put his sword away, and still retreated. As this happened, Koriana and Nikkaro both
detransformed before everything just stopped... and then began to happen again. Before
Setsuono could fully comprehend the situation, the man had began to rush them again, his
sword once more ablaze. Gripping his staff, Setsuono told the other two, currently standing
confused, to transform, and he blocked the incoming blow of the blade. As soon as Nikkaro
was transformed, he looked down at the crossbow in his hands, wondering exactly how it was
used. Koriana was already drawing upon her own logic to try to make sense of the situation,
but Setsuono couldn't give her much time to think, as his own life was basically in jeopardy with
the heat of the blade bearing down on him. He wasn't as strong as this other man, and couldn't
hold back the blade forever.
"Chill factor!" cried Mercury, the words merely coming to her. A ray of frost shot out and
engulfed the blade, putting out the fire. Grinning to herself, Koriana was caught off-guard as the
man threw Setsuono back, dropping his blade, and grabbed her, tossing her towards Nikkaro,
who had just barely figured out that the bolts of light materialized into the crossbow as they were
needed. Already trying to take a shot at the man, Nikkaro accidentally shot Koriana with one of the
light bolts, just as she collided with him.
"He said you would put up more of a fight... I didn't think it would be THIS easy to take you
out, but then again... I didn't think you would be a bunch of brats..." laughed the man, picking up
his blade and pressing the tip against Setsuono's throat. "I guess your little quest ends here, right?"
"Fiat Lux!" came Nikkaro's voice, and an explosion of light caused the man to raise his hands
to his face to keep out the sudden burst of light, brighter than the sun.
"Crescent beam..." came another, and as Nikkaro's right index finger glowed, he touched the glow
to the crossbow, and a bolt of light appeared. It shook with power, and Nikkaro took aim, and fired. The
man dodged the bolt, and turned to laugh, not noticing that the bolt had stopped just after missing.
"Shower!" The frozen bolt now exploded with a shower of mini light-bolts, most of them striking
the man. As he drew back from the irritating sting of the minor crescent beams, Nikkaro and Koriana
had both stalked behind him, and Setsuono had barely gotten to his feet.
"Crescent Beam!" cried Nikkaro, pointing his index finger directly at the man now, and firing a
pure bolt of light into his back. As the man fell to the floor, Koriana was there, holding her hands out.
"Shabon Spray." she said, and a myriad of bubbles appeared in her hands.
"Talk..." said Setsuono, extremely grateful that he had found the other two. Despite the fact
that he had been able to transform for a while longer than they had, they seemed to have a better
grasp of their powers and capabilities than he had. "Or else my friend here lets you know what it
feels like to have your eyeballs hit zero degrees."
The group discovered that this young man was named Haryunetso Hino, and he was a
Knight of Mars. He had been told by a man who went by the handle of 'Shadow Knight' that a
small group of warriors was forming to overthrow the earth rulership and claim the entire dimension
for themselves. Haryu didn't know too much about himself, but had a few memories of his past. The
most he could do in this state was create some small fires and cause his blade to heat.
"Still, you should know you're supposed to be on our side, and that we're not here
to overthrow anything. We just want to protect this planet against the coming darkness."
smiled Setsuono. That was how Ranger Knight Mars joined the team.
Over in America, Jikanchi had met up with two others who had just barely discovered
their own powers. The city her plane had landed in had immediately been attacked by some form
of water creatures, and as soon as she transformed to fight, two others, a set of siblings
themselves, were suddenly awakened.
"Snail speed!" laughed Jikanchi, watching as the water creatures almost literally slowed to
a crawl. From her right, a young man, just slightly older than herself appeared. On his hands were
metal gauntlets and they shined with power.
"Thunder... CRASHER!" he howled, slamming his fists into the creatures. Lightning
errupted from the gauntlets, and the creatures all flew backwards... in slow motion.
"Static E..." whispered a girl to her left as she stepped forward. She looked a lot like the
young man, only much more beautiful. She was apparently much younger than him, however.
Lightning lept from her hands, which seemed to collect static electricity from the very air. The gauntlets
that the young man had on seemed to seep lightning into her hands, which also flew at the creatures.
They exploded into a million pieces before even hitting the floor.
The two team regrouped in Japan, where Setsuono, Koriana, Nikkaro, and Haryunetso met
Jikanchi, and the two newest members: The Kinos, Kaminora and Hiroshino, Neo Sailor Jupiter and
Ranger Knight Jupiter. The groups all swapped stories of what little memories they had, and then
set out to try to root out this new evil and destroy it.
It wasn't long before Setsuono and Koriana developed a rather interesting relationship, both being
rather shy around the other. Kaminora and Nikkaro also had begun to see each other romantically;
Nikkaro the ever-loving joker, and Kaminora... the youngest member of the team, and a most reserved
and compassionate individual.
Soon, their powers grew... faster and stronger than any of them had even thought possible. It
was not long before the evil that they had been fighting finally thought to seek them out.
