| Chapter 1: The Prologue |
| Prologue: Long ago, during a time called the "Crystal Millenium" , or the "Second Silver Millenium of the Moon Kingdom", there lived a group of young female warriors known as the Sailor Senshi; powerful soldiers for goodness and justice. Each young woman was a princess, future ruler of their own respective planets. Soon, after a long battle, Earth was left in much ruin. After rebuilding their world, the denizens of the earth called their reshapen paradise "Crystal Tokyo". During the rule of Neo Queen Serenity, the earth flourished in peace and the world was free of crime, hatred, and malice. After a while, a seer known as "The Wise Man" appeared, and with him came an even brighter future, as his predictions proved to be flawless in avoiding problems that threatened the peace of Crystal Tokyo. Unknown by Neo Queen Serenity and her court, Wise Man was cruel and bitter and plotted to overthrow their rule. After becoming a close and trusted advisor to the throne, Wise Man gave a public proclomation of a prophecy that was sure to stir up some trouble with his trustees. "As the world is covered in light, the protective powers of the guardians of the Moon Kingdom shall wane, and soon disappear, and a new era of rulership and peace shall be ushered in." Many people understood the message that soon, there would no longer be a need for the protection of the senshi, as the peace of the land would spread even to the outer reaches of the galaxy. Not everyone was so understanding though. Far off in another realm known as the Shadow Kingdom, the prince of the kingdom heard about the prophecy and began to concoct a plan to use this prophecy to his own twisted designs. Appealing to kingdoms surrounding his own, The Prince of Shadows soon bent 5 other kingdoms to aid in the destruction of the moon kingdom. Of these kingdoms, The Shadow Prince twisted lies and deciet to the Cyber, Dream, and Celestial Kingdoms. He merely bribed the Temporal Kingdom with power to aid him, and yet, to the Abyssal Kingdom of Demons the Shadow Prince merely told of his plot and the rulers of the Demons immediately wanted in. Any plan to overthrow the rulers of the Moon Kingdom appealed to the Demon Realm. After the peace of Crystal Tokyo was secured, the sailor soldiers retired to the difficulties of rulership on their own planets, but unknown to them, this was exactly what Wise Man had expected. With the Sailor Senshi dispersed, their overwhelming powers were divided and thus, weakened. When the attack happened, it caught everyone off-guard. The first planet that was attacked was Pluto. A planet of scholars, philosophers and astrologers, the entire planet was nearly wiped out before Sailor Pluto even knew they were being overrun. Taking her twin children, Sailor Pluto left her husband to hold off the enemy while she escaped to the Moon to warn the queen of the attack. Just after arriving and warning Serenity, Pluto knew her husband had fallen. Serenity contacted each member of her court, and one by one, she knew that the fight had already been brought to each of them. All the senshi wished was for their children to survive, as it was clear the force of these kingdoms were too great to fight. Moving as quickly as she could, Pluto teleported to each planet, taking the prince and princess of the planet before moving on to the next. Herding all of the kids to the moon kingdom, Pluto used the last of her remaining powers to open a rift to an alternate past, where there was no pure evil, and thus, also no pure good so there would be no need for Sailor Senshi. Sending the children, Pluto also put a fail-safe up to ensure that the kids would be reborn in new lives and would remember none of their past. Also, anyone attempting to follow would go through the same transformation. The Queen was soon all alone, by herself. Her court was destroyed, and her best of friends were all dead. Drawing forth the power of the Silver Crystal, Serenity sacrificed her life and sent out a wave of golden light, wiping out most of what was left of the approaching armies. All that remained were a handful from each of the 6 kingdoms' armies, as well as the princes of each. These 6 beings were known as the Knights of the 6 Kingdoms. Shadow Knight believed everything was his now, and what survivors were left would be used as slaves for the new rulership that would ensue. Temporal Knight, however, was bitter over the fact that he hadn't gotten the chance to kill off the current Keeper of Time, Weilder of the Key to the Gates of Time, as Sailor Pluto had killed herself. Hoping to get a chance at her children, Temporal Knight searched desperately for what was left on the planet of Pluto and through the Moon Kingdom. After many months of nothing, Temporal Knight realized what Sailor Pluto must have done. Assembling the other 5 knights, Temporal Knight opened a gateway to the same timeline that Sailor Pluto had sent the princes and princesses and the 6 Knights entered, unknowledgeable of the fact that they would also be reborn as the children they were after had also been. |
