           Angel
                                                        Angel
I see you walk in, so quiet.
I am suddenly drawn to you.
Who is this girl who seems so sielnt?
   Who are you?

I don't know.

I go on in life and you leave.
I know our friendship can only grow,
But I fear I shall never see you again.
   Who are you?

I don't know.

Years pass. Suddenly, I am alone.
No one to speak to, darkness. Fear. Loneliness.
   Why do you torment me?
   Please, who are you?

I don't know.

Suddenly, you are back, and you speak.
We are meant to be friends, forever.
Still, I don't know, yet, I fear, neither do you.
   Who truly are you?

I don't know.

We grow together, friends till the end.
We find other friends, yet still we are close.
We meet others and weave our lives together with theirs.
Yet, I must know, who are you?

I don't know.

Soon, we lead totally seperate lives.
We hardly know each other, save the select few times we see or talk to each other within the lonely halls of school.
All this time, and still, I wish to know, truly, who are you?

I don't know.

We grow far apart, yet our friendship strains to draw us near.
We truly never seem to leave one another, always there for one-another.
You cry, and I grant my shoulder. You grant an ear when I have my problems.
Yet through all of this, you have never told me, who are you?

I don't know.

And finally, near death, I realize.
It has taken so long, yet along-side me, there you are.
Waiting, to lead me home after death.
   Who are you?

I am Angela, as I have always been.

No, you are an angel.
You have always truly been there.
When others laughed, you were there to console.
When I cried, you would lend a helpful embrace.
If I felt the cold fingers of early death, you were there to light the way back, as you do now light the way home.
I have found you, and know who you are, yet I belive you finally have found yourself.
Now, I may die, and leave this world, with you, as my guardian.
I leave to find those who have left before myself.
I have lived for far too long, and my heart aches for those who have already left.
So now, in my moment of death, grant me a blessing. Grant me thy name, thy form. Please, grant me this, who are you?

I am your guardian, your friend, and your companion in life. That which you have been, I have helped to create. And now, as you are uncreated, I am here to gude your way along. Follow me now, as I have followed you,  for once again, we shall be united...

   In friendship forever. . .
