Welcome to the web page that belongs to the Varadan family, residing at 'Prakrithi' (Nature's Abode), in the heart of God's Own Country- Kerala, India. Kerala, the enchanting land of Lord Mahabali at the southern tip of India covered with a lush vegetative landscape filled with  the exotic spices that add the touch to your everyday recipes is a popular tourist destination from the 1990's. Calicut a.k.a Kozhikode at the Northern tip of Kerala is home to innumerable variety of flora and fauna besides what is known for : free trading port that Vasco Da Gama couldn't resist all the way n Europe ; and later the home of the Calico cloth.

The Varadan family of four,a tightly knit traditional Indian family,has its ancestors owing allegiance to a sub-caste of orthodox south Indian Hindu Brahmins of the Vaishnavite order - The Iyengars. Our family has taken a leap in moving out from the holy town of our spiritual leader, Sri Ramanuja(acharya), Sriperumbudur. The temple town of Sriperumbudur, which literally translates itself to the holy town guarded by the ghosts, has shot on to the world map following the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi,India's ex-Prime Minister.
