Hot pot is a traditional Chinese meal that is served in front of a steaming pot of water or soup, in a fondue style. Typically the food is prepared uncooked. As the people are gathered around the hot pot, they put the raw food into the hot water or soup for it to cook. When the food is ready, they dip the food into a sauce that is a mixture of sa-cha sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and raw egg. After a long cold day, you will feel warm after a night of eating the hot pot.
