About Us

Alpha Xi Delta is women's social fraternity founded in 1893 at Lombard College in Illinois. Alpha Xi Delta uses the pink Kilarny rose as our flower,

the quill as our member's badge, the "pumpkin seed" as our new member's badge and our colors are double blue and gold. Alpha Xi Delta was one of the ten founding members of the National Panhellenic Conference. there are over 120,000 initiated members of Alpha Xi Delta.  Our philanthropy is centered around the theme "Choose Children."

The Pittsburgh Alumnae Association is the oldest continually operating Alumnae Association of Alpha Xi Delta. We meet regularly throughout the school year. Our members are from over 15 different chapters and range in age from new graduates to 60 year members (Order of the Pearl).
