Welcome to the Pitt River 4-H Rabbit Club homepage! We are a rabbit-loving club of thirty members led by Sharon Hall.

The Pitt River 4-H Rabbit Club is just one of ten 4-H clubs in the
North Fraser District. The other 4-H clubs include beef, dairy, dog, lamb, swine and community clubs.

The North Fraser District stretches from Deroche to Port Coquitlam. This district is part of the
Fraser Valley Region, which is part of the Provincial Council, 4-H is an international organization dedicated to the development of young people, preparing them to become productive, self-assured adults who can make their communities and countries a good place to live.

The motto of 4-H is
"Learn to do by doing." Members are expected to be involved in the care and feeding of their own project and also record keeping. Members will also participate in public speaking, demonstrations, judging their own as well as other projects, show competitions and fundraisers.

We hope that you will consider joining your local 4-H club in the near future. Whether it be Dairy or Rabbit or Dog... there's a 4-H Club for you!
