Pitt Meadows 4-H Dairy Club
est. 1953
The Pitt Meadows 4-H Dairy Club  is based in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada, and was established in 1953
4-H can be quite costly after having to buy things like feed, shampoo, grooming supplies, etc. for our animals.  If your business or corporation wishes to sponsor our club, please e-mail us, as we are always looking for sponsors.
The Pitt Meadows 4-H Dairy Calf Club has eleven members this year, between the ages of 9 - 19.  We also have 2 leaders, as well as some very helpful parents.  The fairs that Pitt Meadows Dairy is going to this year are the Maple Ridge Fair, The Abbotsford Agri-Fair, The Chilliwack Exhibition , and the P.N.E.
4-H is a non-profit, youth organization.  4-H encourages young entrepreneurs, and helps give youth the ages of 9 to 19 years of age great social skills.  It also emphasizes teamwork, co-operation, and great leadership skills.  Most 4-H clubs are run almost entirely by the youth in the club, and have adult leaders for supervision and safety reasons.  4-H teaches members how to train, raise, and groom their animals, which ultimately instills new skills, and most importantly, teaches responsibility.
