Hon.

Hearing Date: February 7, 2002
SUPERIOR COURT OF WASHINGTON FOR KING
COUNTY
|
LARRY PITTMAN, et al., Plaintiffs v. Defendant |
No. 99-2-52345-8KNT DECLARATION OF eric ahrin in opposition to defendant's motion for summary judgment |
I, Eric Ahrin, declare:
I have read the Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment to dismiss me.
When I was working in sanitation, my supervisor was Dave Cassatt. He used to call me Nigger. He would say things like ‘hurry up Nigger.’ I was working night shift, 11 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.. I worked with Alhaji, Joe Donkor, David Abruquah. The supervisor at night time running the machines was always yelling at us. Always shouting. I can say that at King’s Command they treated black people worse than white people. We were treated like slaves.
I was out my front door going to work one day when I was deported for overstaying my visa. Defendants say that because I did not come back to America for a deposition, that I should be dropped. My lawyer told me that we could do the deposition on the telephone. If the court would make an order for me to be issued a visa, I would already be back. I am available by telephone and if the court orders that I be brought back, then it shall be.
I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington that the foregoing is true and correct.
DATED this 14th day of January 2002. Accra, Ghana
