Why?
The Bush administration is undermining our nation's most basic environmental protections leaving the people of Pennsylvania exposed and vulnerable to increased amounts of asthma-triggering smog, growth-retarding mercury and lead, cancer-causing dioxin, and other contaminants.
It is time for us to stand up to the Bush Administration's environmental policies.
Join us after the rally for a community walk.
We will be going in pairs to other Sierra Club members and like-minded people in Squirrel Hill to discuss environmental issues in Pittsburgh, and gather postcards to President Bush letting him know that we are concerned about his environmental policies.
