*Pikathis 2* Instruction Manual

---STORY---
Ha! Now there's a plot! Ha! It turns out that the Pikachus, fed up with your success in Pikathis 1 (remember that?), have decided to do something about it. They're staging a mssive takeover of Kanto, the land in which Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow took place. Your job is to go all over Kanto, driving the Pikachus out of each area one by one. Where's the fun? Read on.

---HOW TO PLAY---
Players move using the arrow keys and shoot using Shift. Using both SHift keys at once to fire more quickly is acceptable. Now, aren't you glad you read this? You have to destroy Pikachus in four Areas of four Stages each. Every fourth stage is a boss with many hits. All Pikachus must be destroyed in order to progress to the next Stage. At the title screen, five lives are given to the player. The player receives three lives after each Area.

---ENEMIES---
Pikachu (Runner): Just bolt along the screen in a set pattern. Touch one and die.
Pikachu (Shooter): Run back and forth shooting electric bolts. Death comes by touching either it or its bolts.
Pikachu (Big): Now with hit bars for easier killing, these guys pack mega-firepower with bolts bigger than you. For clever ways to die, reference Shooter.
Marril (Bluechu): I felt like putting it in, and there's nothing you can do about it. Nyah. Shoot water bubbles that home in on where you were when they were fired. Makes it much harder to stand in one place and wail on some guys. Usual death causes apply.
Raichu: Move in an easy pattern, but take something harsh to kill and shoot in four directions at once. See above.

---AREAS---
Area 1: Viridian Forest
Area 2: Vermilion City
Area 3: Route 12 (Eastern Docks)
Area 4: Power Plant
Area 5: That would spoil the fun.

---WAYS TO DIE---
Here's a fun category to write. You can die by:
1) Running into a Pika-baddie of any size
2) Getting shot by a Pika-baddie's electric bolts/water bubbles
3) Running out of time (lower right corner)
You can NOT die by:
1) Walking into a cliff
2) Shooting yourself

---OH, YEAH---
Just so you know, we actually did try to put in a two-player mode. Two guys, controlled by two people, would run around, shooting over cliffs and trying not to run into the electric bumpers. When the level was opened in the actual game, the game would immediately close, and when opened in the test mode, it gave the computer a critical error that forced a shut down and restart. We then took out the level.
