The three shadow Pokémon names have been revealed:
Perappu, Buizeru and Tamanta.
Therefore the new Diamond and Pearl Pokémon are:
Munchlax, Lukario, Manyula, Usohachi, Manene, Manafi, Perappu, Buizeru and Tamanta.

The latest edition of Coro Coro revealed 4 new Pokémon, the identity of 1 is known as
Manafi. The remaining three are still unkown, as they are shadowed out, but the first appears to be a fish pokémon, the second has a tail split in two, and the third has the shape of a musical note on its head.. Click here for a scan of the Coro Coro pages. This means the new Pokémon so far are: Munchlax, Lukario, Manyula, Usohachi, Manene, Manafi, and the three unkown Pokémon.
And this month Pokémon celebrates it's 10th anniversary, with the first game being released in Japan on February 27th, 1996.

The US title of the eigth Pokémon movie has been revealed to be:
Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. The Japanese title of the ninth movie has been revealed to be: Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea - Manafi!. Click here to go to the movie index.

May 2005
Nintendo announced the name of the next Pokémon game for the Nintendo Game Cube;
Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. The US release date is set for October 2005, while the US release date is 4th August 2005. Nintendo have also announced two new consoles; the Game Boy Micro and the Nintendo Revolution. The micro is not designed to replace the DS, and is only a smaller version of the Advance. Nintendo also announed a new game for the DS; Poképark Fishing Rally. Unfortunately, this is only available at the Poképark in Japan. The latest edition of Coro Coro in Japan revealed 3 new Pokémon.
Click here for a scan. The Pokémon on the left is called Manyula and is the evolution of Sneasel, the Pokémon in the middle is called Manene and is believed to be a pre-evolution of Mr Mime, and the Pokémon on the right of the scan is called Usohachi and is believed to be a pre-evolution of Sudowoodo.

After showing a
trailer in Japan for the 8th Movie, another 4th Generation new Pokémon has been revealed: Lukario. This is the second new Pokémon to be revealed after Munchlax, the pre-evolution of Snorlax.

November 2004
4 Kids Entertainment have announced that a new 22 part series called 'Pokémon Chronicles' which will run alongside the
8th season of Pokémon in 2005. The episodes will not be about Ash Ketchum, they are known in Japan as Pokémon Housou specials.
