Misha - A Junior High School girl who moved next door of Kotaro's mansion. She constantly follows Kotaro around. Misha is actually an angel who came to protect Kotaro. A failure in heaven she was, she was sent to earth to study. Misha seems a little strange personality wise but she is actually very smart and caring. |

Kotaro Higuchi - A cool elementary sixth grader. His mother died in a car accident and now lives with his father. He was living a normal life until Misha came tumbling along and began to change his life. For some reason, Kotaro has super natural powers and is able to see ghosts and has a sixth sense. Who knows if he likes Misha. . . |

Shia - A mysterious girl who came in front of Kotaro and crew. She has no family members so she lives with Misha in her apartment. She isn't very educated but she is a great cook. With Ten-chan's help, she works part time in Ten-chan's uncle's cafe. |

Koboshi Uematsu - Kotaro's classmate who loved Kotaro ever since they both entered elementary school for six years. ( Talk about obsession. ) Kotaro does like Koboshi but it is never known whether he loves her. Once Misha arrived, Koboshi hates Misha since she is constantly around Kotaro, her "idol". |

Takashi Ayanokouji - Also known as Ten-chan! Also Kotaro's classmate who is the smartest in the class. He is very popular in school and enjoys hanging out with the crew. |

Hiroshi Mitarai - Also known as Dai-chan! A queer student who transferred into Kotaro's class. He HATES Ten-chan for his intelligence. He actually came from another school to Kotaro's school to beat Ten-chan with grades. Though Ten-chan is always a step ahead of him. Dai-chan loved Misha at first sight. Ten-chan apparently calls him Unko ( crap, dung, sh*t. . . ) |

Kaoru Mitarai - Dai-chan's little sister. She doesn't play much of a role in Pitaten but she loves Ten-chan since she met him. Though she mistakened Ten-chan with Kotaro. |
