My 2000 Trans Am WS6
Ladies and gentlemen, this is my newest addition. It was purchased the late winter of 2004 by me while I was deployed to Africa. Here's the rundown. It has a Hurst shifter (factory) mated to a T-56 tranny. It has a 345ci LS1 generating about 325hp from the factory with the Ram Air package. The WS6 model of the Trans Am comes with the Ram Air package, larger front and rear sway bars, stiffer shocks and springs, 17"x9" polished aluminium (not chrome folks) rims, speed rated tires, and a power steering cooler. As I find more differences I'll update. Due to the lack of Pontiac's and ASC's record keeping, I am unable to find the conversion number at this time. WS6's were a limited production.

So far, this is what I have done. I have had a custom program installed by local f-body guru Dave Smith which added probably about 50hp. He also performed what are called "free mods" to free up about an extra 10hp. "Free mods" include disconnecting the throttle body coolant lines and freeing up the underside of the air filter. Also installed was an aftermarket airlid to replace the restrictive stock one. That alone is said to be about 5hp. I installed a short stick shifter and added a few visual aspects, like the windshield banner you see. I'll keep undating as I do more things. I have a Borla exhaust about to go on sometime.
Thank you for visiting. I won't be able to update this anytime soon, as I am about to deploy to Iraq until sept. 05. See you all later!!!!
